What data we process

Account data: email and password (the password is stored encrypted and we never see it).

Profile data you choose to publish: name, account type, role, categories, country, city, experience, career, website, availability, photo, banner and gallery.

Activity on the platform: job posts, applications, chat messages and reviews.

If you joined the waitlist before launch: your email.

Purposes and legal basis

To provide the service: creating your account, showing your profile to the right people, managing job posts, applications, messages and reviews. Legal basis: performance of the contract you accept when signing up (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

To notify you of the launch if you joined the waitlist. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

To keep the platform secure and prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who can see your data

Teams can see the profiles of professionals and other teams. Professionals can see team profiles but not those of other professionals. Messages are only visible to the two people in the conversation, and applications only to the applicant and the team that posted the job.

Profile photos, banners and gallery images are served through a public link so they can be displayed on the website.

Service providers processing data on our behalf

Supabase (database, authentication and image storage) and Vercel (website hosting). Both act as data processors under GDPR-compliant agreements. Some of these companies may process data outside the European Economic Area; when they do, it is under the safeguards provided by the GDPR (the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).

The photographs on the home page are loaded from Unsplash's image server, which receives your IP address when displaying them.

Cookies and storage

We only use strictly necessary technical storage: your account session (browser local storage) and a cookie that remembers your chosen language. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, which is why we don't ask for cookie consent.

How long we keep it

For as long as you keep your account. If you delete it, we will erase your data except what we must keep by law for the legally required period. Waitlist emails are deleted on request or when no longer needed.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, portability and restriction of your data, and object to its processing, by writing to viceakart@gmail.com. If you believe we haven't handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or your local supervisory authority.

Minimum age

The platform is intended for people aged 16 and over.
